Cory’s Cause

The National Safety Council reports that cell phone use while driving leads to 1.6 million crashes each year. On July 2, Cory Bailey wrote just three letters before driving his truck through a guardrail, downhill, hitting two trees before his death.

As the reliance on always being socially connected rises, as do deaths due to texting while driving. Our mission is to evoke a mind-shift, similar to the mandatory seat belt law passed in 1984. Somehow we’ve trained ourselves to immediately buckle up. Don’t you think it’s possible to train the brain to put the phone in the glovebox?

Donations will go to Impact Teen Drivers, a 501-3c that develops evidence-based curricula and guides for schools, and professional fields across the country. Visit http://impactteendrivers.org/
