A Mothers LOVE so big you will MELT

Donation protected
Sarah Sanford wins "Mother of the year" in my book!  A Mother to two adopted biological siblings, Jane & Jude, Sarah LIVES LOVE in a way so monumental it makes you tear!

Not able to have children of her own, Sarah and her husband Vance, adopted Jane.  A few years later they answered the call to welcome Jane's biological brother Jude to their home.  The children's biological Mother was challenged to provide for her own general well-being and in turn caused a series of endless medical challenges for her offspring.  Turns out Baby Jude suffered a stroke in utero, resulting in cerebral palsy, hemiparesis (weakness on one side of his body), considerable developmental delays, visual and hearing impairments, and the list keeps on coming as do the diagnoses - See more at Akron Children's Blog: Hey Jude!

Jude has spent more time in the hospital than on the playground and was not even expected to walk to speak ... enter Sarah Baughman Sanford and her unwavering dedication, LOVE and dedication to her children.

She provides the nuturing kind of LOVE the kids need, especially in dealing with the medical challenges Jude faces, maintains a warm and welcoming home, can make a mean dish of macaroni and cheese (my personal fav dish of hers) and works on top of it all!  I'm in awe ... not quite sure how she does it all!

Please help me in serenading her on this Mother's Day and giving a few bucks so she can kick her feet up, hire a cleaning service for the day to help around the house, get a pedicure and maybe even go on a date with her hubby!

Sarah, Thank you for inspiring me to LIVE LOVE too!  You make the world a better place, and I LOVE you for that!!!

>>> a few short hours after my original post and it clearly needed edited for a few reasons ...

1.) the community of friends & family surrounding the Baughman-Sanford clan is far more generous and supportive than I gave credit

2.) I just learned that Jude is scheduled for TWO MORE surgeries May 20, 2015.  Not only are your prayers and warm wishes NEEDED but financial support always helps too!!

Jude's upper L Colon is not functional.  He is having a permanent tube placed into his belly so his colon can be manually flushed ... for life.  The damage was caused when he suffered the stroke and the surgery is necessary (MACE - Malone AnteGrade Colonic Enema ).

Sarah currently works part-time to accomidate Jude's medical schedule and has no vacation or other time off.  It is certain with the time off needed to care for Jude through these proceedures, she will no longer be employeed.

While date nights are mandatory, so are groceries, gas and so on!

Jude's surgeries will take place May 20, 2015.  It's a 2-5 hour proceedure.  He will be in the hospital for 2-7 days and spend 4-6 weeks recovering.

Prayers, warm wishes, dinner, and all your LOVE needed please!  Donation$ help too ;)
