We started this fundraising campaign to be able to market march for Ukrainian freedom in Washington DC and other cities around the US on May 20th, 2017. The money raised was spent on advertisement on the radio, social media and a few Ukrainian newspapers. It worked! We gathered a nice group in Washington DC and also in San Diego. After the event we decided to continue the fight and not just stop at this one event.
We strive to raise awareness among Americans about Ukraine's struggle for its independence and freedom from Russia's all-too-long shadowy grasp. Our mission is to get American Government to put enough pressure on Russia to pull out its militants out of Ukraine and stop the bloody conflict that in the last three years took over 10,000 lives and left thousands wounded, homeless and orphaned.
We are turning this grassroots movement into something more impactful, and will continue meeting and working with our Senators and Congress reps to help Ukraine regain its peace and independence from Russia and Putin.
