Hi everyone...my name is John and recently was given devastating news regarding one of my dogs. Actually my youngest. Her name is Peanut. Shes a 3 yr old Rottweiler and the daughter of my other 2. Peanut was recently diagnosed with B cell lymphoma. There's really no words to describe the feeling u get when the vet calls you?? I only know it was the worse feeling I've ever felt... Anyways my next step was I phoned Cornell University and took Peanut there for all her testing. Bone marrow....xrays ultrasound blood work etc.... The good news I got was her lymphoma was B cell and no organ involvement . So she was treatable with chemo. Thank God... The out of pocket costs for chemo run in the thousands. Sadly for some pet owners its a deal breaker. They can't afford the costs and have to put their pet down. For me...I never considered this once. No matter the cost!? Peanut started her chemo at Veterinary Specialists in Rochester NY On May 14th Please....donate! The costs are already staggering and 23 more weeks to go! Thank you!
