The Us4Them Challenge

Last year, I personally witnessed how physical activity changed my life and motivated me to help those around me.  I was overweight, depressed, had lost my job and at a really bad point in life.  I joined a gym called Hard Exercise Works and took a 5 week fitness challenge that changed me forever.  I lost 25 pounds in those 5 weeks, found my confidence again(and so much more) and was set on a journey to help others do the same.  One thing that I noticed is that when you have other people encouraging you and counting on you to do better in your fitness journey, you tend to do better.

I proceeded to create a campaign called the Us4Them Challenge.  
Participants took on a 4 week fitness challenge in which they were encouraged to lose weight for a cause of their choice.  They would recruit their friends and their families to give them $1 to $5 for every pound they lost and that money would go towards a community/mission project of their choice!  4 people took on the challenge and were able to make a difference in their lives! 

They were also able to see what the money they raised went towards such as this project.  Antonia is a single mom and could not afford school supplies for her kids.  But because of the hard work that these participants did, we were able to provide her with a Walmart gift card to take care of those schools supplies!

This year, we're taking it to a brand new level!  50+ people are taking on the #us4themchallenge with nutritional and exercise guidance provided by Hard Exercise Works and are aiming to raise $6,000 to build 2 homes in Nicaragua through FNE International.



 Through this initiative, after the challenge is over, some of these participants will go to Nicaragua and build the homes with their own hands!
Help us raise the money to not only encourage the participants to get in shape in these 4 weeks but to also build these 2 homes!
