All in Crusade

The All in Crusade will be finished at midnight on Thursday, May 4th after Idaho Gives. We know that $250,000 was a big goal and we are thankful from the bottom of our hearts for those of you who have shared and donated. No matter what happens at the end of the crusade, rest assured your donation will be put to good use. Even if we end up closing, we will use the contributions to pay our bills and to support the employees who have given their heart and soul to the organization while they search for future employment. This will allow us to shut down our operation with dignity and grace. Thank you for supporting our programs, our people, and for your kindness and generosity.
Ū have needed us, now we need ū. For seven years, Usful Glassworks has run a successful program serving over 300 people in the community, many of them unemployable without our help. At the same time, we have recycled over 350,000 glass bottles. We have a business model that works and we are extremely proud of what we have accomplished in the last seven years. However, we have reached a transition point and if this organization is going to continue to operate in a way that benefits our trainees and our community we need your help in raising $250,000.
Low-income seniors, veterans, at-risk youth, our homeless community, people with mental and physical disabilities, and refugees have all been helped by our jobs training program. As a matter of fact, 67% of our trainees are now working in more permanent employment, supporting themselves and their families. Our program works, but we cannot sustain our services through the sales of our glassware alone so we need your help. We need funding to:
· Provide reliable supervisors that can work with our trainees within our manufacturing process
· Provide a dedicated sales force and marketing team to grow product sales
· Provide office and programs support
Having funding for these critical needs will free up the Executive Director to do what she does best, fundraise so the program will be in the community for a long time to come.

Ūsful Glassworks is a 501c3 nonprofit organization in Boise, ID that provides jobs training through our glass-recycling program to those in our community experiencing employment barriers. We work with refugees relocated to the Treasure Valley, at risk youth, unskilled and unemployable adults including seniors living below the poverty level, and our homeless community. We provide them with vocational training and feedback on work ethics. Participants that earns high scores on our work ethics evaluation will receive assistance to find jobs in the community.
