JCR Licklider's Linking the World
Dear Friends of South City Students,
South San Francisco Unified School District has state History Day champions from both South San Francisco High School and El Camino that are trying to raise funds to represent the state of California at the Kenneth E. Behring National History Day Contest at the University of Maryland June 14 - June 18. James Fong, Alexander Wong and Jesse Angelo Pangilinan are representing SSFHS for their award-winning documentary JCR Licklider: Linking the World. Jarrod Yee is representing El Camino for his award winning paper on JFK. Students competed against competitiors from over 220 different schools.
Your generous and tax deductible donation (Tax ID 94-3083861) will help pay for airfare, lodging and travel expenses for these four amazing students. Because our need is large and immediate, we ask that you give what you can to help our amazing students compete at this prestigious competition. If you your company offers matching funds, our campaign should qualify. We are extending our campaign another week and increased our goal to better cover travel expenses (airfare). Please tell your friends and family to help us out.
