City Ordered House Repairs

Donation protected
My Aunt who is 63 years old, 10 years ago was hit by a gravel truck which left her on disability after being a hard worker for many years, she lived with the love of her life for over 30+ years here in Kalamazoo, but they never got married. Between the 2 of them they fought to get custody of her son's 3 kids and adopted them over the last 5 years or so, finally about 2 years ago they got full adoption rights and custody of them, but after about 6 months after the adoption the love of her life died suddenly of a heart attack, leaving her with nothing except unfinished projects around the house and because they were never officially married his pension and retirement couldn't go to her. Now she struggles but she loves her grand kids and will do anything for them. Just recently an older neighbor complained that her house is an eye sore and turned her into the City Of Kalamazoo, my Uncle Dean before he passed away unexpectedly had built onto their garage but never finished siding it, was working on roofing the house, but only got the back done, all of this stuff that he started working on but never finished. The city sent her a letter stating she has 60 days to get her house in shape or they will start fining her, she needs to paint the entire outside of the house, old wood siding and window trim, finishing the garage which needs siding and probably some painting around the trim, and to finish the roof. She has no extra money and we as a family are trying to help out as much as possible, but of course we all are struggling to, we help out as much as possible with labor and whatever we can with supplies but it's just not enough. It's just sad there is no help for someone in her predicament, she is the sweetest lady in the world and would give you the shirt off her back if she could. When Dean was alive he would help any neighbor out that he could. I told her there has to be some place she could can get some assistance with helping her with all these repairs and things she needs to accomplish.  She can't afford to lose her house and she loves her grand children more than anything in the world.  It saddens me that this added stress has been put on her and so I'm trying to help her in anyway I can.  I know everyone's hurting, but any little bit would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
