Foster Train Program for Rosco
Donation protected
Meet Rosco! This guy is the 3rd dog we have found on the street with no family to call his own. One of our amazing, dog loving clients (Harlowe, Juliet and Emmie's mommy) works in SW Atlanta where they are currently bulldozing the trees to make way for the SW expansion of the beltline. These street dogs have been losing thier "forest home", and she has been rescuing these dogs as they show up and using her own money to vaccinate, neuter and pay for DiOGi's foster board and train program to set them up for success as family dogs.
We have successfully rehomed formerly "Vidal Sassoon" who seemed to have been dumped by his previous family as he was microchipped from Dekalb County Animal Control, but after several attempts by us and the microchip company, they didn't respond. Thanks to one client (Spaghetti's mommy) for fostering him and another client (Tikka's mommy) for adopting him, he is now in a very loving home and has been renamed, Tater!
Sirius was a wild child who probably never had a home, but after some training and living with Emily Parker, DiOGi's trainer, he learned how to be a companion dog and was recently adopted by another awesome DiOGi client (Meehan's mommy and daddy).
It truly takes a village to save these dogs, so we are asking for support. Even if it is just $5, every little bit helps. The foster/train program has been deeply discounted to $200/week from the regular cost of $100/night or $700/week. DiOGi Pet Services has been taking on some of the medical bills for each of the dogs and making sure they have good quality food to eat while they stay in our board and train program.
Rosco is being picked up today (May 26) from Briarcliff Animal Hospital to begin his journey to become an awesome, adoptable family dog.
Thank you for your consideration and donations in advance!
