The Question
Would you rather be tattooed by a well-educated, customer service driven tattoo artist, who is also an educator and professional himself? Or, would you rather a less than educated tattoo artist, with less artistic experience and less care and concern for you, your body and the artwork, who only seems to be driven by money or the next client? You decide!
The Problem
The problem with the Tattoo Industry is that it projects the ideals of a 'Rock and Roll lifestyle' and attracts droves of people to try out tattooing due to media hype such as Ink Masters and Tattoo Nightmare. Therefore, anyone can try to open a 'Tattoo Parlor' only to find out that they're really conducting sub-par business and producing tattoo work that is not admirable. People who choose less than good services have to live with bad tattoo work FOREVER! This is why the 'Tattoo Cover-Up' portion of the industry is currently so successful!
The Solution
Vampyre Ink solves this problem by raising the bar of competition. The level of professionalism and customer service coupled with the many years of experience in the Arts projects Vampyre Ink's mainstay and future endeavors beyond tattooing. Once the new location’s success is proven, the next steps will be taken to change the format through which tattooing is learned.
Why Fund Vampyre Ink?
The company, Vampyre Ink, is seeking funding towards opening an official Tattoo and Arts Studio location. Costs will be necessary to incorporate, secure a permanent location and renovate the new location. Personal funds of the owner/operator, Joe Figlerski, will mainly be used in addition to funds raised toward the best possible outcome in order to service a larger community and achieve our goals.
Vampyre Ink just needs that extra push from crowd funders, family, friends and angel backers for dreams to become reality. Both students of the arts and tattoo collectors alike gain quality over quantity; costs are reduced without quality being lost. Wouldn’t you like to learn the inner workings of producing fine art? If you don’t find interest in the Fine Arts, than perhaps your children can supplement their education? Perhaps you want a high quality tattoo at an affordable price? Seems reasonable to lend your support to Vampyre Ink who will in turn add culture and business to the local community! There will be different levels of rewards and incentives offered in order to add to the crowd funding experience!

About Joe Figlerski
East coast renowned artist, Joe Figlerski, is the Sole Proprietor and creative entrepreneur of Vampyre Ink. Joe has two decades of artistic experience to call upon, teaching Fine Art privately in addition to engaging in over ten years of professional teaching experience in public education. These experiences coupled with seven years of tattooing, impact the quality, skill and creativity brought to clients of Vampyre Ink. Joe works closely with clients, and students alike to ensure that the experience of Vampyre Ink is one which is lasting and worthwhile.
Since 1996, Joe Figlerski been producing art and receiving acclaim in the fine arts world as published in magazines and showcasing his artworks throughout Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky, Connecticut, and Louisiana. Mr. Figlerski received an Associates of Applied Sciences degree in Commercial Art, Computer Graphics from Luzerne County Community College in 1998. Between 1999 and 2002, Joe rigorously studied realism under the tutelage of Anthony J. Waichulis at the prestigious Waichulis Studio, which later became known as the Ani Art Academy. Soon after, inspired to teach Art to students, Joe set out to attain a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education from Keystone College from 2003, which concluded in 2005. Mr. Figlerski was hired by the Greater Nanticoke Area School District immediately following graduation, and has since been employed there. During the academic year of 2008-2009, Figlerski attended the New York Academy of Art in Manhattan, NY in order to gain credits towards his master’s degree.
Inspired by the tattoo industry, the art of tattoo caught the interest of Joe in the summer of 2009. Since then, much like education of the Fine and Applied Arts – tattooing has been a mainstay for Joe. Seven years later, Figlerski is still inspired by the art form. Joe believes that it’s one of the most challenging forms of art that he has encountered as it couples customer service, the artist’s vision, individuality, three-dimensional format and commission all into a final image bestowed upon the body, for display wherever a tattoo collector travels! “Tattoos are literal mobile galleries which work in tandem with culture and the social aspects of society – not only do they act as an admirable form of art, but they also are advertisements and brandings dedicated to the artist’s and the client’s vision!” Currently stationed in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, where he works as an educator, Joe dedicates many hours, years and practice to tattooing application.
