Verma Systems Flood Relief Fund

In an effort to help our employees and their families rebuild their lives, Verma Systems has created a GoFundMe campaign to provide monetary assistance to those affected by the devastating Great Flood of 2016. Eight of our employees were directly impacted by the flooding.  Some live in Baton Rouge, others live in surrounding areas such as Denham Springs, Walker and Baker.  Several have lost their vehicles or homes, but the majority have sadly lost everything.

I have repeatedly been asked, “how can we help” or “what can we do”?  We believe monetary donations that can be split between the eight affected employees based on significant needs is the best answer right now.

Donations will assist employees with:
- cleanup and restoration of homes 
- furniture and clothing replacement
- food and vehicle expenses or other monthly expense assistance

Although the current situation is challenging and stressful for so many, we are encouraged by the spirit of togetherness and compassion.  This has truly been a “pay it forward” moment to help those who need it most.
