Hello. This is the story of James Craig. James went to college to make a better life for himself and his family. He graduated from Arizona State University, Tempe in 2009. Yes, during the worst recession since the great depression. Now the school loans became due. With an inadequate job he was unable to make the payments. He decided to join the military who promised $40,000 in benefits that could be paid to student loans. Great. Unfortunately, in mice type, that was only federal student loans. So that didn't touch the bulk of the loans. In the military James served in Afghanistan and South Korea, as well as state side. He earned the rank of sergeant during his last year of service. While the student loan payments were forgiven while James was in the service the interest on the loans kept accumulating. The original $50,000 is now over $100,000 and gaining in interest everyday. Fast forward to 2018, back home in Arizona, James is still struggling to find an adequate position to care for his family and pay all of this debt. James is a great husband and father to a fabulous family who just needs some help to gain a foothold on this school debt. Any contribution to help James pay of his school debt would be a god send.
