PLEASE HELP SAVE OUR LOCAL VFW 7878

To these men and women the VFW is a real place to gather, to display and pay respect to our common symbols of service. Many VFW Clubs may be a little older with wear and tear, and some are small yet some much larger then others, smoke-filled with drinking, but it is a permanent reminder to our cities and towns, especially during time of peace, that wars are fought and the hero's who fought them are all around us.

         Now, with the heart of the membership ranks simply getting too old to stay active, it’s time for many of these organizations to work with each other and their communities to redefine their roles. But make no mistake. They still are valuable, viable community assets.

       Many of you in the area Know of the VFW Post 7878 and the struggles of the economy. We are asking for the help of our community as well as the help of many more generous men and women willing to donate to help save our local VFW. We are asking for donations as well as welcoming people to join our Local VFW Post. We will host many bake sales and car washes when the weather permits for fundraising to help support the VFW.  We are also looking to start hosting a BINGO AND POKER NIGHT! With all of these exciting changes and help we are very hopeful to save our local club.

         We wish to thank each and every single one of you for your support and help with saving VFW Post 7878. We are greatly appreciative from the bottom of our hearts and look forward to being part of this community for many upcoming years.
