Vicki's Battle - Kicking Cancer's Ass

I haven't known Vicki very long, but she is a selfless, loving, wonderful person. Vicki was diagnosed with non-hodgkins B-Cell follicular lymphoma in October, 2012. She is a single mother of three, an aspiring writer, book lover, blogger, promoter, indie author supporter, book reviewer (Platinum Book Reviews), and former auto mechanic.

The affected lymph nodes are in her left chest wall and underarm region. Her chemo was given in high doses as the cancer was starting to spread to her liver. They have since lowered the doses of radiation and chemo and are moving forward with immunotherapy. She has been unable to work during the treatments, per doctor's orders, even to support her children. She is struggling with the side effects of chemo on top of the stress of an impending move that is not her choice. Her bills are piling up and the disconnection notices are coming in daily. She still does as many reviews as possible from her bedside, along with promotions for her beloved author friends.

The money from this campaign will go toward Vicki's medical and moving expenses.
