Virgie Driver Headstone
Donation protected
"We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." -- 2 Corinthians 5:8
Virgie Driver, or "Nannie," as her family called her, was a steadfast shepherd who tended to her flock, offering unconditional love, warmth, and a guiding heart.
Our sweet Nannie is no longer suffering or struggling for each precious breath. She left us Tuesday, April 28, 2015 to meet her Savior, who greeted his faithful servant with open arms as she entered her new home in an enduring city.
The family will celebrate this amazing woman's life on Saturday, laying her to rest next to her husband, Gordy, who left us 43 years earlier.
While the burial costs are covered, the family would like to purchase the double headstone she wanted for her and Gordy in their final earthly resting place.
The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made towards the headstone fund.
