Virgins for Life: A Redemptive, Hilarious Film About Teen Abstinence

VIRGINS FOR LIFE (also known as V4L) is a low budget, independent
comedic feature length film presenting an alternate, redeemed view of
sexuality through a humorous, yet poignant lenses in contrast to how it
is usually portrayed in present day media. To state it more simply: an
ironic sex comedy. Flipping films like American Pie and Superbad on its
head, while keeping the wit and charm, it revolves around two senior
high school girls trying to keep a hold of their virginities in a world
that's screaming for them to do otherwise.
There are a lot of costs associated through filmmaking, and we will need funds throughout the entire process (from pre-production to post-production). Our budget is $200,000 which we've been raising from various sources. With even more, though, we can go above and beyond with the vision for this film.
This film is not aiming to judge, preach or condemn, but to show the other side of the story, because contrary to popular belief, there is one. We hope to shed a new light on those who are waiting to have sex without being cheesy or cliched as well as to provide an encouragement for those who have made the choice to not have sex until marriage. We also hope to thoroughly entertain all demographics. This film is similar in comedic tone to Easy A - except we're not villainizing the chastity club here.
Teen pregnancy and STDs are at a higher rate than ever. So why not support a movie about teenagers not having sex? It's different and you gotta admit, the title is great. So let's go forth with it!
