Samuell Starlets Officer Camp

As many of you may know this is my first year to teach at  W.W. Samuell High School. I have had the privilege to teach and direct the Starlets Dance/Drill Team!  We are raising money to attend the American Dance and Drill Team Officer Camp in San Antonio, TX for the first time ever in our schools history. The girls would love to attend this camp as they have never been to an officer camp before and one all the way in San Antonio. The girls are really excited and hopeful that we get to attend this camp.  My personal and educational purpose for this trip is for all four dance officers to gain knowledge and skills in a challenging environment, and to engage and empower their growth as students and pre-professional dancers, and to nurture their life-long goals through dance.  In addition, the girls would learn how to work together to get stronger as an officer group, as well as learn how to motivate and train the team to build an even stronger program. Of course those are my educational purposes of this trip, but those of you that have been to conventions and camps know it's all about networking, having fun, meeting new people, having fun, exploring something different, having fun, taking classes with master teachers, having fun, going somewhere you haven't been and most of all HAVING FUN!!!!!!!!

My officers are 4 girls that have been with me this past year on my team and I know this will help them grow as students, dancers and young ladies.  They are four young ladies that are so deserving of this opportunity. The only obstacle holding them back is FUNDS!  Please help us out, in any way you can.  All amounts are accepted and appreciated!!!
