Melisa Barajas Headstone

Hi my name is Monique I started this fundraiser behalf of my beautiful loving sister Melisa Barajas. Who sudden death shocked our family since then we have been caring for her three children. Ages 6, 3 and 1. Melisa passed to soon on December 1, 2013 at the age of 23. Since then we have struggled to obtain her headstone. Being that we were unprepared for such tragedy. Since her passing our family still gathers at her gravesite to celebrate her life. The hardest part in all this is trying to explain where exactly she rest to her children because were still missing her headstone. Its been nearly 2 years of empty gravesite and we feel her children respectfully deserve to have a headstone in which they can relate to their mother. We feel it would make it more comfortable and understandable for us to talk to them about her resting. Melisa Barajas was a charismatic fun loving Mother, sister and daughter. Who would do anything to put a smile on our face. Melisa essence would light up the whole room. She could dance to anything but was more of the Shakira in our family. Her light was our light and now we wish to share her light and shed some light on the subject for the better understanding of her children. The bigger struggle in all of this is trying to raise the money for Melisa's next birthday on August 9, 2015. Melisa would be 25 and has gone to long without a headstone. The light of our lives will never fade and a headstone would commemorate that for her children. We would gladly appreciate all and any funds donated on behalf of Melisa and her three children.
