2016 NB Outdoor Nationals

For the 1st time in school history, WTHS/North Track and Field has 11 Boy's and Girl's Qualified for the NB National Scholastic Outdoor Track and Field Championships. On June 19-21, 2015, the National Scholastic Athletics Foundation will celebrate its 25th outdoor national championships – known as the New Balance Nationals Outdoor since 2010 – at North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro, N.C., the meet’s home since 2005.  Also, for the first time, Burncoat High School also has 11 Boy's and Girl's Qualified. This is a tremendous achievement for all of our athletes, representing Burncoat High, North High, Worcester Technical High School, and the Worcester Public Schools. 

Our 21 athletes not only represent their individual schools, they also represent the hard work and dedication of student-athletes within the Worcester Public Schools as well as the City of Worcester. Each of our athletes are hard at work trying to raise the necessary funds to compete in this Elite event. As coaches, John Nicol (Burncoat) and Jerry Snay (WT/North), we are asking for your support to help get our athletes to North Carolina for this great event. 100% of your donations will help offset the entry fees, transportation costs, Hotels, and Meals.
