Austen Russell Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Austen Russell was an amazing boy who was taken back to our loving Father in Heaven in a tragic accident on May 30, 2015 at the tender age of 9. He was a best friend to all who knew him, a boy with a giant heart, a gifted athlete.
He played hard in life, enjoying every moment. Austen was very independent, strong willed, and tenacious. He was a sweet boy with beautiful blue eyes and ( curly )blonde hair who always had a smile on his face.
The only thing Austen loved more than sports was his family. When he was born, his mother said she knew he was special. She loved him deeply with an extraordinary love. He was priviledged to be coached by his father in football and basketball and by his mother in soccer. Austen was always in the shadow of his dad, the two were best buds. He idolized his two older brothers and protected and pestered his two little sisters.
Austen was larger than life. We would like to keep his legacy alive with memorials at a local park and through future projects. If you would like to donate to help his family through this difficult time, it would be greatly appreciated.
"Austen is every man's dream for a son. He was inquisitive, challenging, fun, intelligent, and incredibly gifted athletically. Austen was born into a great family and he very much knew how to enjoy his mom and dad and his two brothers and two sisters." -Stephen Russell, Grandfather.
