Keep Winter’s School Open!
Donation protected
In the middle of one of the poorest neighborhoods in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, lives a man named Winter. He has been working tirelessly for years to provide a free school for the children who live there, as he is a firm believer that education is still the best way to improve someone's circumstances in life.
Winter’s school, Rajepre, has grown enough over the past few years to now require nine teachers, all of whom have been working for free. Not surprisingly, the teachers are not certain they can continue this for one more year, and the school will have to close if they leave for paying jobs. Winter would like to pay each teacher $120 a month, and I would like to help him achieve that goal, one month at a time.
Please consider donating to this drive as every dollar has the potential to be life changing for a child in Haiti. Education is the best chance these children have of one day getting out of poverty. You just can't invest in anything much better than that.
