Walk with Jonny




Jonathan Meyer is an active 31 year old who loves to spend his days working hard, teaching people the Bible, hiking, fishing, biking, spending time with his family and friends, enjoying the things creation has to offer.  Jonny was driving home late one night and decided to pull into a gas station to rest for a bit.  A young man with a total disrespect for life attempted to car jack Jonny and ended up shooting Jonny in the chest leaving him to fight for his life.  Jonny was airlifted to the nearest trauma center where he later endured a 6 hour surgery to repair the extensive damaged caused to his lung, spine, and spinal cord.  Jonny thankfully survived surgery and is now left hoping to walk again.  He has many months of therapy ahead of him once he is released from intensive care.  Our hope and prayers are that Jonny will be able to make a miraculous recovery that will enable this sweet man to return to the life he once had enjoying the things he most loves, and that his family can focus on the love and attention he most certainly deserves.  Please help in any way you can in supporting Jonnys treatment and recovery, and we can all walk with Jonny again!
