WALK A MILE IN THEIR SHOES

Donation protected
This morning I woke up in tears just pouring from my eyes and with my heart hurting from remembering seeing so many less fortunate kids attending schools with torn shoes but still excited to be getting ready to head out barefoot to receive an education...
for the past two years I have always talked about creating a foundation called "Walk A Mile In Their Shoes" and today God spoke to my heart and told me that instead of receiving gifts be a gift to others... so here goes
My name is Carla I'm from Nicaragua. My parents brought three of their five kids and two cousins into the USA by way of the Rio Grande for a better life 36 years ago.
By the grace of God we all have made our parents so proud and have accomplished many things in life.
Today I am married to a wonderful man who has shown me how to make it happen and never give up on my dreams.
I have a son who has succeed beyond my dreams and four stepchildren who I adore...
I have my two amazing parents who mean the world to me
Have beautiful successful sisters with wonderful families of their own...
I believe the older I get the more I realize that life it's bigger than personal gain and at 46 years young it's time to spend my remaining years giving back

There are so many parents that try to send their kids to school with proper shoes and can't because of little to no financial means. Sometimes we take these simple blessings for granted.
So this year I will ask for my people instead of giving me gifts to donate to give back to the kids.
Let's make our heart a little softer and help the less fortunate.

Please donate. Your amount is not as important than your willingness to do what you can
