North County Abuse Prevention

North County Abuse Prevention Services is a nonprofit organization that was created in San Diego County in January 2015.  NCAPS’ Mission is: “to prevent abuse and/or further abuse from occurring.”  NCAPS will focus its efforts on providing legal advocacy to victims of all forms of abuse, including, but not necessarily limited to; domestic violence, child and elder abuse, animal abuse, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking.  NCAPS plans to reach out to underserved populations who are suffering from abuse.  NCAPS will also offer prevention training to professionals and community outreach and education on these topics.  NCAPS believes that the key to successful outcomes in working with victims/survivors is through extensive collaboration with law enforcement and community partners.  NCAPS intends to provide mobile services as part of its regular day to day assistance to victims/survivors.

Funds being raised under this campaign will be for start up funding, including but not limited too; office rental, insurance, equipment, and office supplies.
