Ponytail Kicking Cancer's Ass

Kenneth needs your help!
Kenneth Ulappa (a.k.a. Ponytail) has been diagnosed with stage four cancer. The progression from healthy colleague to seriously ill happened so suddenly over the course of about a month that it’s hard to even fathom. We are all shocked and deeply saddened by the news. Our thoughts are always with Kenneth and his family as they cope with the ramifications of this devastating diagnosis. Kenneth is the sole breadwinner in the family and is a father to a special needs child who requires constant care.
Our warehouse leader is truly one of the people who make our company work. Kenneth’s energy and enthusiasm sets an example for the rest of the employees. His commitment to make sure that our customers come first and that we deliver excellence to a reputable list of clients positively affects our restaurant community all over the Northwest. If there were an unsung hero in this industry, our colleague would lead the list of nominees.
One of the great things about working in the food/restaurant business is the generosity of spirit that all corners of the industry display. We are counting on that generosity to help raise funds to cover our co-worker’s medical bills, alternative treatment, and to set up a fund for his family – who certainly will need all of our support to navigate the traumatic change in their lives. We know that he will fight the good fight to fully recover and return to full strength to his immediate family.
While our insurance covers many expenses, the surgeries he has already undergone (and will continue to undergo) will still leave a substantial bill of which we want to minimize as much as possible.
We welcome any donations and suggestions for industry fund-raisers to help our colleague. Thank you for your continued love and support.
