We created this grass roots foundation based in North Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. We are dedicated to providing the homeless with some basic comfort, so that they can survive the cold & wet winter nights.

Many of the homeless choose to remain outdoors and sleep wherever they can find or make shelter.

They are our greatest concern. So what started out as an idea has culminated into “Winter” packages and warmingthehomeless.com. 

Our Mission:  To provide the homeless a fighting chance to survive the cold, damp fall and winter nights. To personally meet the homeless on the streets where they live and to let them know they are not forgotten nor alone. To let them know that people still care enough to provide them with some basic comforts that many of us have taken for granted. To place a “winter” package in the hands of every homeless person.

Our Motto:  “We are not here to judge. We are only here to help.”

Our Promise:  All the funds you donate to warmingthehomeless.com directly purchases new toques, new gloves, new socks, new rain poncho, new hand warmers and new ziplock bags, Coffee packet, Tea bags & Hot Chocolate packet for our “Winter” packages.

Our Vision: To let the homeless feel that they are worthy of the new items in our “winter” packages and not old, used or discarded clothing.
