Save America's Flagship!
Tax deductible
In May, the SS United States Conservancy launched the WE ARE THE UNITED STATES campaign to help save America’s Flagship -- the fastest ocean liner ever built -- and prove that people from across the nation and around the world can come together to take on great challenges.
And they have.
As of the end of August, we’re proud to share that we have raised over $300,000 to keep the SS United States safely afloat and continue our work to secure a permanent location for her.
People from around the world are responding with donations large and small to help us save this symbol of American pride, innovation, and unity. But our work is not yet done-- saving the nation’s sole remaining ocean liner is a unique, challenging project, and we need your continued support in order to create a landmark destination that will engage and inspire new generations.
Meet Elvis Negron, who has a bold plan for the future of the ship
Meet Mary Anne Cox, a three-time passenger who has inspired a new wave of Flagship fans
Imagine being able to visit, stay, learn, and have fun on board the America’s Flagship again! That’s our vision: securing redevelopment partners to move the SS United States to a permanent location and revitalize the historic vessel as a center of hospitality, entertainment, culture and much, much more, including the Conservancy’s museum and Center for Design and Discovery.

The SS United States needs us now more than ever. This great ship is a symbol of who we are when we’re at our very best. The space shuttle of her day, she is an icon of our strength, skill and innovation. The fastest passenger liner ever built, her transatlantic speed record remains unbroken.
Donate to the #WeAreTheUnitedStates campaign today to help us save this legendary national symbol from destruction. All donations will go directly toward protecting America’s Flagship.
