Help Victim Family get back on feet

Hi everyone my friend’s name is Melissa as my name and she really needs some helping hands right now.  She is in the middle of the trial case for her son’s murder.  It happened 2 ½ years ago. Her 16 year-old son, Eric Ronald Sergeant, Jr. was stabbed to death right here in Hemet.

While walking down the street, 3 males approached him and asked him for his phone in a robbery attempt.  He refused and they attacked him. He was able to get away for a minute and run, but unfortunately they ran after him and stabbed him multiple times.


Melissa’s life will never be the same. She has been going through so much in these last 2+ years and just recently, her home was broken into and just about everything stolen. They even stole Eric’s blanket that she would sleep with.


Because of the trial, she was unable to keep her job and a couple of days ago, she came home from court and her water had been turned off. Her rent is coming due.  


I can’t imagine having to go through what this poor woman has had to endure these last couple of years. She needs help.
