24hr CPR defibrillator for West End

Donation protected
WEST END BUTCHERS (Perth Road, Dundee) are currently participating in a fundraising initiative called "Butchers at the Heart of the Community".

The main aim of the initiative is to help and encourage people living in Scotland to be ready and confident in delivering CPR for someone who has suffered a cardiac arrest.

The initiative was started by butcher Pamela Hunter from Hunters of Kinross after the unfortunate passing of one of their regular and popular customers, after suffering cardiac arrest.

The goal is to raise enough funds to provide local butchers and shopping areas with a 24 hour, public accessible defibrillator.

The West End shopping area serves a large population of elderly folks, who are considered a higher risk of suffering cardiac arrest. We feel this would be a massive benefit to our area and could very possibly save lives.

We will also have a collection tin displayed on our counter to raise these funds. With your help, we can ensure that the West End is CPR ready!

* Any amount raised, we will match £ for £ *
