Support Shaune's Team Canada Dream

Donation protected

Each year bowlers from all over the country come together at the Canadian National Championships for the chance to win a spot on Team Canada.  In 2014 Sault Ste. Marie's own Shaune Pine competed against approximately 150 of Canada's best bowlers and won a spot on Team Canada's Youth Team.

Shaune Pine has been working towards this moment since she started bowling at the age of ten.  Making it to international competition in the sport you love only happens to a few people and at a young age she has been fortunate enough to have accomplished that feat.

Shaune will travel in just a few short weeks, along with 9 other of Canada's best youth bowlers from across the country, to compete in the the PABCON Youth Championships in Panama - June 27 - July 3rd. The tournament, which features countries from the American Zone competing in Singles, Doubles, Trios, Team, All-Events and match-play Masters, take place at Bolera Sede in Panama City.

This is a great honour and I know Shaune will represent Canada and Sault Ste. Marie well at international competition.

As you can imagine travelling to Panama is costly and national funds to support the youth bowlers at this level is very limited.  Help Shaune fulfill her dream of competing in such a prestigious event!  Her and her family would greatly appreciate all your support.  Every donation helps.
