Project Peace

After the wake of what happened on the week of November 8th in Paris and around the world, LKS Alpha Theta Chapter and UB SNPhA have collaborated to raise awareness and funds for the recent global tragedies. The two organizations have been giving out white ribbon pins (a symbol of innocence, victims of terrorism, violence against women, peace and the right to life) for donations. All donations are going to International Relief Teams, a global humanitarian nonprofit organization for both medical and non-medical volunteers to assist victims of disaster, poverty and neglect. Along with the ribbons, students and faculty were encouraged to write messages of support and hope on a banner that will be sent to the pharmacy program in Paris Descartes University.
