Rebuilding after Wimberley flood

Wimberley residents and very active community volunteers, Gary and Susan Callon suffered extraordinary damage to their personal home and to their retirement security when the Blanco River flooded their property.  Unfortunately, they do not have flood insurance.  In addition to suffering extensive damage to their personal residence and  belongings,  they lost their rental property which was a critical source of retirement income.   The Callons went from a secure retirement to an uncertain future overnight.

Please help this wonderful couple.  Gary and Susan are both very active volunteers in the Wimberley community.  Their volunteer activities include delivering Meals on Wheels,  Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Art Fest, Keep Wimberley Beautiful, Habitat for Humanity, Friends of the Library and regular shifts at the Wimberley Visitor Center.  The property losses combined with the loss of income is truly devastating. Donations of any amount will go a long way to help this wonderful couple start the rebuilding process.
