Greetings Beautiful World. WE NEED YOUR HELP!
My name is Praheme and I am the CEO of Praphetic Praduction & iamWE Film Collective. We are raising funds for the creation of a new feature film Walking Under the Influence. From pre-production to distribution, we need your support to make this film. We are looking for 100 people to contribute $1,000 or more. Will you consider contributing to my film and help make this dream into a reality?
We know it’s a huge ask and we understand if you are not able to contribute such a large amount. Honestly, we will humbly accept whatever you can afford to give. Or if you know people who love to support the arts and can connect us that would be a huge blessing. Thank you for your time and consideration. God bless you and your kindness.
SYNOPSIS
Walking Under the Influence is the comedic tale of MARTIN, a mildly depressed college graduate who returns home to live with his parents and takes the first crappy job he can find. When his best friends (Craig & Elliot) come to town to celebrate the 4th of July and lift Martin’s spirits, their plans are interrupted with the announcement of a citywide DUI checkpoint.
Now inebriated, the three amigos decide to walk to the club with a large bottle of liquor. They quickly discover that life has thrown many obstacles blocking their path to the club where DESTINY, Martin’s crush, is waiting with a bevy of beautiful friends.
What will one man endure to reach his Destiny?

DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
There is so much sadness and pain in a lot of the content created around the Black experience and I wanted to create a comedy in that void. WUI is a chance to laugh and revisit a time of yesteryears, when the dreams of college clash with the nightmares of reality. The realization that the truths of your childhood are mostly lies is a hilarious feeling that I believe many can relate, especially young Black Americans trying to make it in the world.
The title WUI is my take that society is filled with many people under the influence of something or someone to keep them moving through life's bullshit. Religion, Drugs & Alcohol, capitalism, Black Liberation, Hip Hop, women & lust, sex, entertainment, etc. WUI is the second film from Praphetic Praductions and iamWE Film Collective
