Shirley Murray's Funeral Fund

Shirley passed away Sunday morning June 14th, 2015.  As you may know, funerals are expensive.  Shirley was told she had to "sell" her life insurance policy when she got on MCD.  Of course, with hard times and her limited income, the money is long gone.   She always had a intended to be buried next to her husband.  With finances dwindling, she had decided to go with a cremation, which went against her true beliefs.  This past week she finally let us know which she would prefer, she did say Burial, but was very worried that it would create financial stress on her family.

I am creating this GoFundMe so that the financial burdon of her funeral may be lessened by the generousity of her family and friends.  I am not asking for a hand out, but instead for a gift to Shirley.   We met at the funeral home today, and we are already up to over $7,400.00 and this does not include the casket.  This is for the least expensive packages.......

She has been so many things throughout her life...
She was the baby, the sister, the aunt, the cousin, the wife, the mother, the grandmother, the great grandmother... She was our friend.  She was soo many things to so many people.  I don't think I can fully extend what she meant to who she meant it to.

Even the last few days of her life, she only wanted to be sure that everyone knew how much she loved them.  Was worried what will happen to......this person, or that person... 

Full of love, and cracking jokes and querky sence of humor.  She kept us all giggling.  You never knew what this beautiful lady was going to say..  

She will be forever remembered.  We love you Shirley..
