Kiersten's Medical Bills

Kiersten Yow, was the female victim of Sunday's shark attacks in Oak Island, North Carolina.  As the media is reporting, she lost a portion of her left arm and suffered severe injuries to her left leg.

Kiersten has a long road to recovery that will include surgeries and rehabilitation, but her doctors expect she will keep her leg, and for that we are grateful.

We want to thank the good Samaritans and emergency responders whose clear heads and quick actions saved Kiersten's life. We also thank her extraordinary doctors and nurses providing extraordinary care.

This has been an extraordinarily traumatic event for our entire family. We are beginning to discover the financial burden that this unfortunate event will cause for our family.

We  continue to appreciate the public's well wishes and prayers, as well as any financial assistance that will help us get through this difficult and tragic set of circumstances.
