My name is Tim and I am the creator of Brothers skateboard co.
I have been in love with skateboarding for almost 20 years and have always wanted to take skateboarding with me throughout my life journey. Owning my own skateboard company can enable be to keep that bond with my lifetime companion ( Skateboarding).
I did not grow up in a household that could support my ambitions, or provide me with funds to chase my dreams. But my family did provide me with encouragement to find a way to make my dreams come true. That’s is why I created this gofundme campaign.
I want to give young adults the opportunity to break into the world of skate sales and see a part of the industry they might never be able to see.
My partner Tom Gockman and I have over 10 years of hands on experience within the skate industry. We have obtained valuable key knowledge on how the skate industry works by starting at the bottom of the industry. Collectively we have sold well over 1.5 million dollars for our previous employers.
With the valuable information we have gained, we can create a new skateboard company that will thrive. With all the connections we have made in the industry, we will produce some of the highest quality American made skateboards the skate world has to offer.
Back to the youth of skateboarding.
Many young skaters come from lower income households. This breeds some of the most talented skaters out there. With their raw talent, we will supply a select group of motivated individuals with boards at a discounted price.
We want to give the youth an opportunity to set their own path. Either skate them all and save a few bucks, or sell them and learn firsthand what is involved in the skate industry, giving them a great lesson in business they might never get another chance to experience.
We are passionate about getting our start up company off the ground and bringing new life to the skate world. Please share our campaign. A simple post would mean the world to us at BROTHERS.
Each $10 donation receives a small sticker pack from a verity of the leading industry skate companies
Each $25 donation receives hand drawn artwork on a sheet of rock hard Canadian maple. Thinner than the average skateboard ply, but the same wood used in our skateboards.
Each $40 donation receives a pack of 80 stickers perfect for sticker bombing a laptop, bumper, or filling a sticker case in a skate shop.
Each $50 donation receives a pack of 100 stickers and a small and large artwork.
Each $100 donation receives a skateboard, 100 stickers 5 pieces of artwork!
