Help Terry w/ Life-Sustaining Meds!
Terry Tolkin is an accomplished music industry veteran and aspiring author who has hit a major obstacle in his life: he has been overwhelmed by a sudden HIV infection that is consuming his life, physically, emotionally, and financially. He struggles daily, living in constant pain, battling Depression and is in major debt due to the costs and co-pays of life-sustaining medications for this horrible, debilitating disease.
Terry was Vice President of A&R at Elektra Records from 1992 to 1996. In 1988, Terry conceived and produced the alternative rock tribute album "The Bridge: A Tribute To Neil Young," which featured many new and upcoming bands who would later achieve great commercial and critical success, such as The Pixies, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., The Flaming Lips, Soul Asylum, Nick Cave and Psychic TV.
Compassionate and selfless, Terry directed 80% of the profits from the album to The Bridge School, an organization for children suffering from Cerebral Palsy, run by Neil Young and his wife Peggi. As a friend and supporter of this wonderful man, I have hopes that Karma will treat him well in this campaign. Let's give Terry a chance to be well and feel loved during this battle. If we can say a prayer and find it in our hearts to throw in a few bucks, whatever the amount, we can make a difference in his life and give him some hope.
Peace, and Thanks in advance. :)
