Water for the Homeless!

Yesterday and today we broke the Idaho State records for heat.  It was 110 degrees today.   As far ahead as I can see, we will be in the triple digits.

We have a lot of homeless here in Boise.  Areas of comfort are few and far between during the day, as the shelters do not house the homeless during these hot days.

I spent the last two days handing out iced waters and apples.  Needing water bottles, apples and ice has added up.  Sadly, a lot of the homeless do not have teeth and apples are not an option.  I need to find a softer item for these people, to provide something to eat during the day.

My hope is that each day, during these triple digit days, I can get out and provide waters and food for those who need it most.

The fees add up quickly and today I ran out of waters/ice after about 5 hours of helping out.   

My promise to you is that EVERY penny donated will go to helping the homeless.  I'll get out daily and share your donations in the form of waters, ice and food.
