tools for Myles
Donation protected
My friend Myles has been in the Jungle at Calais for a few months now, he originally went as part of Dundee Refugee Support but when they left, he stayed. He has been building homes and helping families there to survive the cold as best he can, but as a cancer survivir, only has his sick benefit to work with. We did a wee fundraiser and you amazing people sent him just over £1000 which he has used to great effect!
But he has asked me to go down in February with our two pickups with supplies for him as he is in dire need of tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, drills( hand or electric), saws , waterproof membrane and tarpaulin.
So I thought I would ask you again to help, we are looking for donations of tools from the Dundee area and a wee bit of cash to buy what we cant scrounge,
I'll need the cashola by the End of January to buy what we need in time to set off.
I'll be spending my 50th birthday at the refugee camp and to me its the best thing I could possibly be doing, so anyone of you who would have been kind enough to buy me a gift or celebrate with me please instead donate to this fund so I can bring a smile to some wee faces to celebrate my half century.
I cannot thank you enough for what you have already done and I hope that together we can make a small difference.
