Paul Harness, World YoYo Contest

Donation protected
Many of you know about Paul's passion for yo-yoing. You've seen how he spends every free moment working on his mad yo-yo skills, even as he keeps up with his commitments to studying, participating in 4-H, and volunteering in his community.

This year, from August 3-6, Paul has the opportunity to compete in the 2016 World Yoyo Contest in Cleveland, Ohio.

This is truly a rare opportunity for him.  In 2014, the contest was held in Prague. In 2015, the contest was in Tokyo.  This year it's in Cleveland. Next year it's in Reykjavik. The next year it will be somewhere in Asia. While it would be beyond awesome to travel the world, competing in yoyo contests, it's not likely to happen for this 14-year-old kid from Idaho.

Donations will be used for airfare, hotel, and registration for the contest, which total around $2500.  Paul has already raised $500 of this, but costs keep going up as time passes.

Registration fees increase as every month passes, and the next increase is May 1st.   The hotel rate for the block reserved for the contest is limited by time and availability.  We're also looking at reasonable airfares right now, which are limited by availability and will increase as the event draws near.

We'd love to see Paul attend this event, but we can't get him there on our own.

We think he has talent.

If you think so too, and you'd like to see how Paul could do at a world contest, please donate to help get him there.  You'd make this kid's dream come true.
