Hi everyone!
Look at the joy in the eyes of these kids. This is one of the pictures from the last trip to India. Team from Russia went and shared love, warmth, skills, care and compassion.
Few years back there was a chance to build four orphanages in northern India for kids in need. At the moment there are 60 children that a team from Russia is going to go visit. The plan is to go in the fall which is just around the corner. This is what my friend, Yulya Tusheva, told me about their plans:
"Our team consists of our leader, myself and six other people. All volunteers. We will be living among these children while teaching them about hazards of smoking, drug addictions and alcoholism, importance of family values, spending time in educational activities and showing them new skills. Every team member has experience in various areas of working with children, like organizing camps and picnics, counseling, teaching mathematics, English, music, computers but above all we want to share the Good News of God's love and freedom that's beyond all cast systems.
We really need support in prayers and finances for this trip to happen.
~We need to be able to help these kids with clothes, school supplies, medical and personal hygienic needs. -$400
~We need to help them with paying facility expenses -$200
~Also, we need to be able to organize all these events with kids: outings, birthdays, talks, activity times...-$400
During this time our leader, Timofey, will be taking a humanitarian aid trip to Nepal. The goal is to see the situation that people are in after the devastating earthquake, help children in need, visit orphanages... Later he will be organizing trips with teams. For this expedition he still needs finances for covering travel expenses and humanitarian aid supplies-$600.
As you can see, we are trying to raise $1600 by the time fall is here."
Please search your hearts. Maybe you have a soft spot for children in need, or you want to influence the next generation and make sure more and more children know love of God. We hope to inspire anyone that is willing to extend their love to these kids by sponsoring our team of volunteers from Russia. What ever your situation, please see if you can help us reach this goal.
Thanks in advance to all who answer this call out, even with minimal contributions!
There will be updates on their blog kidsofasia.info. If we should exceed our goal, all extra funds will go to providing more humanitarian aid supplies to these kids.
