Two motorcycle riders lives changed
Donation protected
On Sunday July 5th, my family was heading home after spending some time at the lake. We were behind two motorcycles and little did both family's know, everything was about to change in a heartbeat.
My husband, kids and I noticed a deer just stepping out of a small group of trees. We watched as the wife Judy was just behind her husband Bryan, and the deer took two leaps into the road just missing Judy's bike only to end up hitting bryan's bike on his left side. We watched with tears, fear, shock and disbelief. Bryan hit the pavement and skid across the road 40 feet until coming to a stop with the bike laying on top of him and the deer. As my husband threw the car in park and ran over to him and lifted the bike off, Judy and my husband Nick tried everything to get bryan to respond. We all thought he didnt make it. Just then he took a gasping breath but wasnt moving. Nick and Judy held him close and did everything to comfort him. Many passing by stopped to help but it seemed like the longest hour of all our lives. Finally the ambulance came and Judy held onto my husband and finally let out her feelings for a split second before she entered the ambulance with her husband. As we all stood around still in shock and many tears dropped, we couldn't believe he survived such an accident. The day passed and Nick and I couldnt stop replaying the vivid traggidy.
Today is July 9th and we are in contact with the family and recieve updates almost everyday. Bryan has at least 9 broken ribs, clavicle, scapula, bones in lower back and neck are broke, callopsed lung that was full of blood and fluid. He now has pneumonia, and has to wait for surgery until either Monday or Tuesday. Once he leaves the hospital he will be entering a rehabilitation facility for an undetermined amount of time.
Judy is a nurse and Bryan is a self employed plummer. Judy thought she would sell their bikes to afford everything that is to come. Im setting up this Go Fund Me account so they dont have to completly give up something they had so much passion for doing together. Instead can we all imagine if that were your mother or father or sister or brother and come together as a whole to help this family through this tragidy. Lets be the ones to put a little less stress on this family. Every little bit helps and in return just pray that if one day something of this nature were to happen to your family, you would hope someone would do the same for you. Please feel free to share this and also continue to pray for Bryan's health and Judy's strength. Thank you in advance!
