Samantha's recovery fund

In July 2014 Samantha was in hospital awaiting to be steralized when she found out that she was actually pregnant with child number 7 which came as a massive shock on January 22nd 2015 at 34 weeks her baby was diagnosed with trisomy 21 (downs syndrome) this came as a massive shock as all the previous tests had shown nothing and was very low risk. After spending 5 weeks at london st thomas hospital Sam was allowed to return home with baby. After continually struggling with hair loss and feeling unwell Sam attended the doctors where they discovered a lump on her neck and gave her antibiotics which unfortunatley the lump did not go down nor did it help with the hair loss or other symptons. On the 30th june after 6 weeks of cell tests blood tests mri and ultra sound scans she was given the news that she has thyroid cancer which has spread into her glands and will need a 5 hour operation to remove the thyroid and glands followed by radiation treatment. Sam is a hardworking and caring mum to all her 7 children. But unfortuantely she will not be able to return to work for the forseeable future and David will spend most of hes time caring for Sam and the children and will at times struggle finacially and emotionally so even if it helps them take a well needed break as a family or their daily living costs it will help them concentrate on Sams recovery. So as Sams family and friends we have set this page up to help as much as we possibly can, to show Sam, David and their children how much we truly love them.
Together we can help Sam fight cancer and kick its butt. So it if you can help no matter how small or big i'm asking everyone to help and for that i thank you from the bottom of our hearts xx
