Help Alley Van Manen

A car Alley was traveling in was hit by a drunk driver who ran a red light early Sunday morning. She was sent to Lee Memorial Hospital in critical condition where she remains in ICU. So far the doctors have found she has a lacerated liver, 4 broken ribs, a collapsed lung, a broken tailbone, a broken ankle, and a hole in her lower abdomen from a piece of metal. She has already gone through one emergency surgery and is scheduled for her next surgery this morning at 11 am. Her mother does not live in FL but rushed here as soon as she heard about the accident. We are trying to ease the financial burden for this unexpected tragedy so that her mother is able to stay at her bedside. Alley has a long road to recovery and we want to ensure her mother can stay as long as needed. For those who know Alley know she is tough and this proves it. She is fighting for her life back, all because someone chose to make a decision to drive intoxicated. I will post updates as soon as I get them from the family.
