Justice For Gregory
Donation protected
I am his mother, Kyle Goodson
Gregory was my only child.
In 2005 he was
sixteen, and a senior at North Mecklenburg High
School in Charlotte, NorthCarolina.
Tragically, this was his graduation year. He loved to play basketball, and I can still hear his voice when he talked about attending a Division One college/university where he could use his talent. He talked most often about applying to Georgetown, Syracuse, and UCONN( in the stateof his birth).
Gregory and I relocated to Charlotte, NorthCarolina from Stratford, Connecticut in August 2004. He was doing very well in his new school, but just thirteen months after we moved here he was shot to death. Today his case is cold. No one has been arrested and I want to raise money to hire a private detective, put his story and picture on city buses, and highway signs in an effort to solve his murder. There are many things that can be done. One of those things would be to charter a bus to Wasington D.C. with other survivors of gun violence for the purpose of legislating for gun reform on Capitol Hill. The idea of creating bracelets, pens, and other items to bring awareness to his story has also been a plan of mine. For more information, please view the Charlotte Observer archives from September - October 2004.
Thank you in advance for your support. Let's find Gregory's killer!
