Help Billy Keep His Apartment

Hey friends! Due to several unforeseen events, my partner Billy has been fighting an uphill battle with financial insecurity for well over a year now, and he could really use some help getting to a baseline. Any contributions would go towards securing his housing and getting him current on his bills, so he isn’t living in a state of constant scarcity as he works back towards financial stability.

Since summer of 2022, Billy has been hit with Covid, the flu, family obligations, canceled work, lost access to medication, and mental health struggles exacerbated by the immense stress of so many factors building up. As a completely self-employed content creator and educator, time spent recovering from these blows has had a huge impact on his income, causing him to fall further behind on bills and rent.

He's already taken great strides to mitigate the financial strain on his own, including working gigs and part-time employment, as well as quitting smoking; however, late fees and unexpected expenses are constantly burning a hole in his efforts. In spite of all his hard work, he's still 2 months behind on rent and is constantly juggling which overdue bills he can afford to prioritize, often to the detriment of meals and other basic needs.

Billy Lore has been teaching for the past 8 years, hosts The Dildorks, a weekly podcast about sex and kink alongside journalist and author Kate Sloan, and produces adult content that centers joyful, genuine, kinky, trans-centered queer intimacy. Billy brings so much visibility, education, and joy to the queer and SW communities, and the number of people he’s helped with his teaching and advice over the years is truly impossible to measure.
