2020 Wreath Project

The mission of RememberAVet.net is to secure donations and raise funds to purchase wreaths, ensuring that each grave site at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery (located in Dixon, California), is recognized and honored during the holiday season each year.
Every year since the cemetery opened in 2006, a wreath has been placed in honor of each veteran resting there. In order to reach the goal of covering the cemetery again in its entirety, the projected need for the 2020 Wreath Project is 27,000 wreaths. Each wreath costs $7; any amount you are able to donate is very much appreciated. You can make a one-time donation or consider monthly contributions. Donations are accepted year-round and we also accept checks: RememberAVet.net, PO Box 773, Winters, CA, 95694.
Our group has three fundraisers scheduled for 2020 that are open to the public. More information about those fundraisers and other important Project information can be found by visiting our website, www.wreathproject.org. As we concentrate on raising awareness of this community-based event, we invite individuals, businesses, schools, clubs and other civic groups to join us in recognizing and honoring the sacrifices others have made for our freedoms, and for the sacrifices of their families, as well. Please share this information with family, friends and co-workers as we strive to have 100% coverage again this year and continue this very special tradition.
