Shelby's Second Chance

Shelby is a young basset hound we rescued from someone in Dallas who was giving her away to the first taker via Facebook. We know only what the person told us which is he found Shelby on the street, she was thin and he couldn't find her house. When we picked her up today (6/26/16) she was covered head to toe in fleas, had really long nails, has a cyst on her neck and had been outside for the last 3 months. He told us she does not have a chip but was de-wormed. We can't be sure how much of this story is true but we want to take her to our family vet and get checked out. We have a big heart for hounds but unfortunately our wallet is not as big as our heart and we need a little bit of help. ALL donations will be going to Shelby's vet care and anything left over will be contributed to the next hound in need. Thank you for your help!

Shelby is so loveable! She wants to play with Ruby and wander around the yard. She's very inquisitive, is already chewing and chasing toys and walks great on a leash. A dog like this deserves nothing but the best and that's the goal with this fundraiser.
