Milo Gillis Emergency Family Fund

Donation protected
On June 24th, Milo Gillis left Poulsbo on a motorcycle and was headed to Oregon so he could spend time with friends. On I-82 near milemarker 28 at 11:21pm, he failed to negotiate a curve and totaled the bike. As far as we can piece together, he was taken to the hospital in Yakima and then transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where his parents, brother, and sister were instructed to meet him. He arrived at Harborview with a lacerated kidney and liver, a broken arm, and with every bone in his face broken except his lower jaw.

Milo is currently in the ICU and he has already undergone surgeries for the internal bleeding and for his face. The doctors are waiting for the swelling to subside so they can assess the damage and decide what else needs to be done for him. He has a long recovery ahead of him.

Milo is a retired ARMY veteran. He has three beautiful girls, ages 3, 4, and 10. He's a wonderful father and is always supportive of his friends and family.

If you know Milo, you know that he doesn't want to be a burden on his family.  His parents are at the hospital with him and his siblings are going back and forth across the water to take care of family members and the family's property in Poulsbo. As you can imagine, this can create a financial strain during a time the family should be focused on Milo and each other so we would like to raise money to help with ferry costs, food costs, and anything else his family may need during this time.
