Westgate Little League State Champs

The Westgate Little League Major Softball Team has won the New Mexico State Softball Tournament and has been invited to Waco, Texas to compete in the Southwest Regional Little League Championship Tournament from July 26th through August 1st.

Our team will be representing the entire state of New Mexico in the regional tournament and also have the opportunity of making it to the Little League World Series in Portland, Oregan.  

This is a very exciting time for the All Stars and for the community. All of the girls are outstanding athletes who have  dedicated themselves to their team and have proved that they are the best ball players in the state of New Mexico. 

We are looking for any and all donations to assist with the cost of travel and expenses for the players. Total cost for all players and coaches: $15,000.

We realize that most families do not have an extra $2,000 laying around to send their child to a softball tournament which is why we are turning to our community for support.

We are needing the funds ASAP.

We realize that this is short notice, but when it comes down to supporting out future athletes we know that our community can pull together to help these girls get to Waco to show the Southwest what incredible athletes New Mexico has.

Once again thank you for all your support, our girls are truly honored to represent the State of New Mexico in the Regional Tournament and hopefully make it to the World Series in Portland, Oregon.
